Threaded Stepdown Thermowell

Description

Step down Threaded Thermowell is made from solid bar stock. These thermowells are commonly used in an application where fast response time is required. Threaded thermowells are economical compared to the Flanged thermowell and commonly use in medium pressure application. Our stepdown threaded thermowell comes with 1/2″ FNPT instrument connection and 1/2″ or 3/4″ MNPT process connection. Bore size is available to suit 3/16″ to 3/8″ OD sensor element.

Application

• Used as Protection Well for temperature element in Chemical and Petrochemical Process where media is highly viscous and corrosive.
• Makes leakproof connection with tank or vessel where temperature element required to be removed for verification or maintenance.
